Technical Specifications of 30KV Anchor Insulator String with Horn SparkPlugs

The anchor insulator chain with horn spark gap is composed of：

• A galvanized trunnion yoke,

• A hot-dip galvanized ball eyelet,

• A hot-dip galvanized adjustable extension.

• Three insulator plates for 30kV each with a ball-joint eye housing cover and a base with ball joint. The cover and base are made of hot-dip galvanized malleable cast iron,

• A straight anchor clamp with conical wedge tightening made of aluminum alloy and hot-dip galvanized steel for bare Al/ Ac conductors with cross-sections ranging from 35/6 mm²  to 95/15 mm².

• A simple cross spark gap

• A ball -socket, supplied with bent pins,

• Two small, short stirrups.

The characteristics of the insulator are:

• Impulse withstand voltage + and- lightning wave 1.2/50 us:260kV

• Withstand voltage at 50 Hz in the rain:100kV

• Mechanical breaking force:70kN

• Diameter:175mm

• Pitch between plates:110mm

• Vanishing line:185mm
